We have been working with Freeads Classifieds for several years now in a variety of capacities. Their primary product is the Freeads classified ads website.
- Started by architecting and building a complete rewrite of the Freeads website to achieve efficient scalability and a well-structured, object-oriented, and easily extensible codebase.
- Instigated the use of source control and a ticketing system to aid task management.
- Designed and assembled a server infrastructure to handle the expected traffic, and expanded the available resources as visitor numbers increased.
- Recruited and managed an in-house team, including a lead developer, to continue development of the site, as well as additional contractors as required.
- Architected and coordinated the implementation of a whitelabel solution.
- Assisted in the design and implementation of numerous site features, both major and minor.
- Built a mobile version of the site, tested for use on a wide variety of smartphones.
